Well organise a cruise then if you want one. Maybe cause everyone sits back saying how dead it is instead of showing the initiative and trying to start another cruise.

I didnt relise in my first statement, saying anything about crusing , it was a general obsavation , that this site is dead , i came to the site expecting some local car club meet ups or shindig notices , or am i on the wrong site to find a car club?...Havic , u are totally correct about people sitting back and relying on other poeple to organise something , its the easy ticket to sit back and go with whats going on, then to organise something , and then the wankers come and f**k shit , and is why i gess most people just stick to small groups... and the fact no one organise anything to meet other poeple to organise more stuff?.... And i thought townsville had a car show?.... like one major car show?... or was it the one they had back on september at the v8 track?.......

I read your post on the dons cruises. Yes there are some tough cars around the traps but they keep to themselves due to said wankers. The last one I rocked up to consisted of a bunch of flog bags gathered around the boot or hatch of a supra listing to some rap shit pounding at 1000000db. Hats back the front and yelling and carrying on for people to do skids. What the f**k! I put to much into my car to have flogs like this trying to prove something and on the off chance crash into me while they are pulling a mad fully sick peg legger in there lovely little stereos on wheels. Yeah I have a bad attitude but my car is still regoed and and I don't get tickets because I don't draw attention to myself.

Oh and as for car shows there are none worth going to in my opinion around here....unless you feel like getting hit over the head with a wheel brace like one of my friends did a couple years ago at ingham carshow.

Hey they are out trying to have some fun also i guess but it's just not my cup of tea and as i mentioned before they attract attention that is really not wanted especially when your driving something that is more than just a little modified (all legal of course lol).
There are going to be some pretty good cars getting back on the road in the next few months so it just might pick back up, old school style lol.

myself and a few other boys from justcomms meet up every sencond wed night. its started off all commys but its turning into just a meet up of "decent" people in what ever they own that stand around have a chat then go for a drive if the mood arises.
the last meet ended up being vs senator, vy calais, vn 355bt1, r31 skyline, gti-r pulsar, evo5, s15 and a focus. we dont mind people coming and saying hello as long as there not going to ruin it for everyone aka said wankers lol. its not everyones scene as where not sitting there blasting our fully hectic stereos for everyone to hear!
but if your interested come say hi at the domain central hungry jacks outside of dicksmiths. next meet is this wed.

Yeah I know Josh with the Yellow VN. Have seen you guys out cruising around before. And when I say old school 300sv I mean it will be a heap of lads from back in the day going out for a lap. Back when the strand was a straight line and Townsville didn't even know what a R33 was. Some real decent cars with big power figures. But in general a top bunch of lads.

Havic , dude i member the strand when it was stright , i remeber the days..... Then some bright spark in the council thought hey lets redo the stand..
lol i also member when the strand reopened , there wasnt that gay center kerbing down the "D" section and seening this dude do donuts down the guts.... and the week after there was kerbing...
The old school car lad thing is maybe something we need around here to shake things up , cause i have noticed some half decent cars but some real shocking ones too , like poeple are getting lazy..
When these dudes come out to play , and there keen to rock , i am keen to jump on the bang wagon... might learn afew things..
