It's that time of year again... MOvember! To raise money for men's health and cancer, the third (or is it fourth??) annual Cairns MOvember Cruise is on again!
Organised and run by myself and Gav (FNL01 on here)
When: Saturday, 26th November, 2011
Where: Meet at Smithfield Shops (Kmart carpark end)
Where to: Cruising to Tinnaburra up the Kuranda Range
What time: Meet at 9.00 AM for 10:00 AM departure
Why: To raise funds for Prostate Cancer and Men's Health
How Much: $5 minimum per car. The more you donate, the better the prizes you could win.
This year, we're hoping for even bigger and better, so please, invite your friends and family, and lets make this one massive.
Details are as above. It's about an hour and a bit drive to Tinnaburra, then those who are so inclined, onto the Cairns Burnouts at Edmonton Speedway. We'll be heading up the Kuranda Range to Tinnaburra, then back down the Gillies range for anyone who wants to go to the burnouts.
The cost is $5 minimum per car, but please dig deeper than that if possible. Prizes will be given away on the day, and the more you donate, the better the prizes you could win.
BBQ snags and drinks will be available at Tinnaburra. $2 sausages and $1 cans of drink. this is a no alcohol event. Depending on prizes donated, a seperate raffle may also be run for the better prizes, so please bring along some cash for drinks and the raffle.
We are currently organising donations of prizes, however if anyone works for a company that would like to donate prizes, or gift vouchers, or even discount vouchers, please contact us, as the more prizes we have to give away the better. We are also looking for businesses who would be willing to have flyers in their store for the event to give away to customers. Prizes don't need to be car related, we are accepting any and all prize donations.
This year, we are also having prizes for "people's choice" and "organiser's choice" for the best cars on the cruise, so let's get those cars out of the shed's and cruise for a good cause!!
For any further information, or to donate prizes, please contact Nathan on 0411 232 741, or Gav on 0408 343 464, or drop us a line on Facebook.
Come on guys, let's make this one the biggest and best yet. Hope to see everyone there!! If you are a member of a local car club, please let everyone in your club know. If we get decent interest, we may incorporate a "best club display" from now on.
anyone who can't make it, please feel free to donate directly to me via the Movember webiste here: Naze Mobro here
Gav will no doubt list his donation page in a post below.
PLEASE NOTE: NO ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOUR WILL BE TOLERATED ON THIS CRUISE. IT'S FOR CHARITY, AND ANYONE SEEN BREAKING THE RULES WILL BE REPORTED
cheers,
Nathan.

No MO because of the rules about facial hair at ones of the places i work at
Will be getting out of hospital the day before it, ironically for surgery that is in the underwear region, docs reckon i won't want to walk/move for a week
Car may or may not be on the road by then either.
If i'm walking than i will man the bbq or cut up onions or butter bread or something.
