Hi Guys

Just let you all know that the last round for the sprints will be held on Sunday 20th Nov.

We have a record number of entries and an unprecedented 9 EVO's racing. All ranging from the EVO 3 to the EVO 9. We have Paul with his HKS Kansai EVO 8 from Mt Isa and Brendan with his EVO 6 from Townsville coming. Both EVO's race prepped.

Racing will start from 9.00am and probably continue through to about 4.00pm.

This will be the biggest sprint event ever held in the Cairns region so come on down.

Wow even more EVO's didn't think there could be more.! ha ha, thats great numbers Stuart, should be a great round. Be good to see Pauls EVO out again been quiet for a bit. Kim and I will be there with our ancient RWD Datsuns to stir the EVO boys & girls up.

so how did it go?? i will be keen to head upto cairns next year for a few of these events.. would be good to drive any track other than the townsville track..

what track setup do they use?? i had a look on the website but there is like a million different layouts..

Wow what a big weekend !

The track layout is number 17,1.35km and three laps each round so a good run each set.

Kim did very well with a 1:09.xx running a good set of Federal race rubber, the quickest 2wd on the day and just missing out on 3rd outright also,
I was never going to on pace with my R888's totally worn being the end of season, So a low 1:12 was my best for the day but have also been into the 1:09's.
was another good event by Stuart family and staff and look forward to making some rounds next year.

Thanks Ben, yes it was a big and long day. Even with the 28 drivers we still managed to fit in full 5 rounds so I was really happy with that. I hope everyone made it home OK, I bet there were a few sleepy heads yesterday eh.....

7:34 , not the quickest way around the track.. Looking forward to heading up for a few rounds this year with some new rubber.

good stuff binny, cant wait for Sunday, 30 people coming and 8 people going to try the Formula Vee. Good way to kick of the new year of racing I reckon.
