ok sweet as! how much is entry? and how much to camp?
Kimbyann has scanned and posted the tracks newsletter about KOTH in another thread. But for you I will quote from the newsletter mailed to me.
Pre-entry $65 for driver/rider. Passes are available at $12 each with a maximum of five (5) per entrant. Passes are only available with pre-entry and must be paid with the pre-entry.
Pre-entries will close at 6.00pm on Monday 6th November Nominations may be left in the secure bos at the Dragway Office Pilkington Street. Or mailed to the P.O.Box.
Nominations will be accepted in Ayr till 6.00pm on Tuesday 7th at the Gymnastics Centre in Wickham Street.

A faxed nomination is only accepted if the feew are paid by the date of closing of the pre-entries. Those who wish to pay their nomination via the internet, NEW account details for EFT are: Bank: Suncorp BSB 484799 Account No. 010127331.
There will not be a late charge for the competitor but there are not credits, special rates for crew or guests after close of pre-entries. Normal gate price on the day will be charged.
Discounts: Competitors who travel from centres 200klm or more from Townsville will receive a $15 discount on their pre-entered nomination. No discount on race day.

I have rang them cause i was going to enter on the day, but the pit crew will have to pay normal gate entry fee the same as a spectator, which is $20.

Does this help ya out. Oh and the camping is free too as long as we dont bring glass or alcohol in.

waiting on my engine to come back to put back in the beast. If its ready might just have to take her out. Otherwise i have a couple of other rides at my dispossal. It will be a case of deciding on the eleventh hour as usual. Would you really chuck a sickie for little ol' me for KOTH? Just wait till the real grunt machine is up and running. You will need to chuck the whole weekend. Drinks after that meeting will continue well into Monday morning. :P

No .. but if you know someone who will be racing - get them to pre-enter and get one of the extra passes that are offered for 12 bucks. thats what the boys here are doing. theres 15 going to watch using the passes for the 3 that are racing. Good value

it would be too late to do that sort of stuff now peachey - when we had the last event there - all had to be finalised a couple weeks before the event itself
