We only made it as far as Innisfail before trailer trouble forced us to head back home. I think I'll stick to using a transporter from now on. Here's a couple of pics of the rig I borrowed off a mate anyways.

I was thinking it might have been the weight of the big block ect. up front but maybe your right Lee. There is a big bunch of weight hangin' out back there.

to bpm . if you were there from the start the qualifing started at 3pm to 6pm, this ran over to 6.3opm then it took a while to sort out the field during tea break, and prepare track for racing, this went to just over 7pm then to try to sort cars in their brackets, if you take into acct there was the same time period. for ordinary meetings as you said for average 30 entries, but there was well over 98 entries, it ran pretty smooth, except for a couple of oil downs. racing started at 8pm finished at approx 12pm.

I'm not going to name any names here but a mate of mine went out there with a very tidy car (it's been a feature car in a mag) not some piece of crap nice paint good body work anyway some official decided the way to get his attention was to bang there hands on the boot of his car, a very disrespectful thing i thing so the owner of the car put his car on the trailer and went home.. the drag strip is a dust bowl and the last thing you want if you have a slick car is some donkey banging on your roof and boot lid.. a very poor effort by the said official.. try some respect for the cars.. on a good note i here some very tough cars attended and there is a real strong showing of very quick cars around the traps these days.. good on the guys that done well top effort wish i could have been there

Everyone take note - the editor of Street Action magazine (Graham Stevenson)flew up and was in attendance for the meeting so I wouldn't be surprised if there is an article on the meet in a future issue!!!!
This is one magazine that seems genuinely interested in ferreting out worthy cars and events in out of the way places (like us)

^^The MIB (men in black) took it out.
Lucas in his 'Black' Charger (townsville) (pro street or 'somthing class'?)
Darren in his 'Black' Cuda (cairns) (KOTH)
There were two groups I believe.
Well done guys :D Two Brinks built cars.!!
