I think dane is not so worried about staging (most of us just stage and wait for the other car) but the fact that said angry gnome has blown up is his face about a rule that is only on the track as a formality and not explained to any new racers.
A bit of sportsmanship would have seen the guy explained to Dane before staging that they need more time to stage, or afterwards in a far less hostile manner. I for one would not have held back in swatting someone if they approached me in that manner. a bit of sportsmanship and friendly explaining would have gone a long way in this situation. :D :) :D

cheers dave

I didn't know about any special rules, and have allways just done a small skid and pulled into staging. I dont really see a need for a 1/4 mile skid and have to reverse back up, and if you feel the ned to, just hurry the puk up.

LOL - Funny Stuff - There were alot of guys down there that did do the right thing ie ask their fellow competitor what they were going to do it was good to see common Courtesy but as for that instance well it was a shame but hey thats racing no matter what everyone will know for next time now won't they. It was really good to see that the majority had a genuine good time

Didnt see you Dion where were you hiding

Can't keep up with the boys adding boost to make the grade :(

Where are these ruels to read, being that it is a non ANDRA affilated track?

I cant answer that. But common snese would be to contact the track owneres and ask.

Well the KOTH went well for me and a couple others. :P . Sorry to see naze havin troubles. I think most spectators were in Mopar shock as there were about 9 or 10 chrysler powered cars there from memory  .
Ken(nqkjw) rustled up most guys and made sure they were coming. Good to see.
Special thanks to Brinks for all the effort leading up to it all. ;) 3 or 4 of his cars there running in the finals.
Well done mate.

We actually had 11 mopars competing. :dance2:
There were 6 others I approached who couldn't make it for various reasons.

Although I didn't make it to the finals I was very pleased with mine and the cars performance-especially since it was the cars first full meeting.
For those of you who don't know me mine was the slow black barracuda B)

First round I won with a 12.59 on a 12.55 dial in against the orange falcon ute who dialed 11.55 I think?
2nd round was a double breakout against a white HT monaro.I ran 12.525 on a 12.55 dial in so I was only 25 thousandths under. The monaro broke out by less to take the win so you don't get a much tougher race than that!!!! Congrats to the driver of the monaro.
3rd round for me saw a win with a 12.58 on a 12.50 dial in against a tough brown LH Torana from up north who dialed in at 11.43.

Yep, its a good combo. And i heard only approx 340rwhp? so to run those 10's, he had everything perfect.
