This section is where we can all discuss auto related news from the media (news paper, TV, etc).

Creating a new topic?

Please state in topic where the news article is from. Topic Title example "CAIRNS: Hoons impounded".

Also, either attach a scan of the article (if written) or type up the article (if multimedia). People can not share their views on something they can not see or have not already seen/read.

Any topics created without a location and details of the article it self will be removed.

Enjoy :)

i think it should be only qld based... if it is auto related, other states may have diff laws to wat we do...

So the news has to be car related? When I logged on this morning and there was a lot of new threads and only a couple of them were car related. I hate coming on here and seeing lots of random threads that don't have anything to do with cars.
What did the five fingers say to the face? SLAP!

Yes it must be auto related, and it must be in QLD. If you want to discuss other news topics then there is an off-topic section.

Perhaps those who are posting in the news area should read this?
Or mabye it should just be enforced? The news area is starting to look like the cairns post.....

I agree. I got lazy trying to moderate as it was 95% regular news and not enough auto news and let it slide.... Perhaps a new forum section for regular news in "off-topic" and rename this section to auto news..... thoughts?

In my books it just has to be relevant. If it's auto related it should be fine, but if it's news about a law change or something in Afghanistan who really cares.
