I have an idea. On other forums in a mebers profile, where it says profile options, they add in an extra choice, one that says "Display Name History" which opens a small window and gives the persons old screen name and new one, and the date it was changed. ns.com has this implemented if you want to check it out matt

Due to a bit of abuse of the system I have decided to not allow username changes anymore, unless Noel or I personally see it necessary. Everyone decided to change their name and make it hard for everyone else to know who they were, and others wanted silly names. As such, it is not worth Noel and my own time to bother with changing names.
If you feel you have a valid reason for changing your name than please PM Noel or myself with your reason and new display name.

Exactly. If you still want it changed PM us, and depending on circumstances ( if you havent had it changed 3 times already for example ) we will still change it for you.

He is right. There was plenty of time for people to make a request. If you didn't, well that's not our fault! Few left over? We only changed about 20 at a guess out of 800+ members.... few left over?
And like Noel said. We will still change if you have a good reason, not just because you are bored and want something new. You will find VERY FEW forums that will do this at all, reason or not... so don't complain

got a question, does the character limit still apply on name changes? not that it really bothers me but I had to leave a spelling mistake out of my username so it would fit
