NBCF Pink Pedals Cruise!

We are raising money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Support a good cause and meet people with the same interest!

What is Pink Pedals?

Pink Pedals is a group of females interested in modifying cars or bikes and motor sport. This cruise is designed for females, by females, to try and recruit more girls to join and enjoy their passion in a male dominated field.

• · When: Saturday, 28th April 2007, 4.30pm
• · Where: Northpoint Retail car park outside of The Good Guys, Mackay
• · How much: Girls minimum of $5 donation. Boys your donation is a minimum of $10
• · Why: To greet and meet new people, and to support Breast Cancer Research
• · Who: Everyone is welcome

Why the price difference in entry fee?

This is a female-targeted event, for a possible fatal female disease. Please give generously.

General Outline of Events

Everyone will meet and then go for a 35 - 40 min cruise through town. We will stop again for everyone to catch up and then cruise to our final destination, which is another 35 - 40mins. Cruise is intended to finish around 6.30 - 7.00pm. Dinner and drinks afterwards is purely optional to each individual, but it would be wonderful if everyone could attend. CRUISE ROUTE WILL NOT BE MADE PUBLI*look at me im swearing*IL THE EVENT.

Overall Rules and Regulations

Normal traffic laws apply. Any offences with be reported to police.

Please come and support a wonderful event and not only will you be helping to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Research but you'll get to know more people with the same interests as you!
PS - Boys, if you like boobs it's time to give a little back to help keep them around for a long while to come.

Well that's obvious But it doesn't hurt to get out of town every once in a while!!

Everyone is invited, from Mackay or not. I am 2hrs out so I am driving in for it, and the bigger the turnout the better

C'mon guys they have given us heaps of notice, and we can car pool if necessary. Its an awesome cause, im sure all of us have been touched by this terrible disease in some way.

Lets make an effort, it will be fun, and a good weekend away. Count me in I understand the cairns peeps not being able to make it, but for the tvlle peeps its just like driving to cairns, cept in the other direction, hehe

Suggestion: perhaps all the cars participating don a pink ribbon of some sort wrapped around the aerial.
