does any1 know of anywhere that i can get my nos bottle refilled in Cairns or Townsville? Need urgently! any help is appreciated. :? :twisted:

yeah i tried BOC in Cairns and townsville and they said no way! I also tried top gear automotive while i was in townsville a few weeks back

yeah can u even just buy a full bottle from BOC??? and just get all the fittings and fit it urself>?

yeah but it defeats the purpose of just buying my $500 nos bottle though, its such a pain in the arse how every1 in cairns is so hush hush about nos refilling.

yeah im talking the huge bottles that are about 1.5m high?? fill em off that? yeah it seems a bit that way..

not a bad idea but they told my da that they will only sell it to a gp or hospital or dentist, and there aint no way im gona be any of those,lol

lol if i still lived in victoria i coulda got u a big bottle from my old work umm just trying to think who else would have it... either way i'd try and get a big bottle saves ya going to the same place all the time when u run out..

autobarn dont do it, even tho they sell it??? Over here, just about every workshop can refill it.... $100 a bottle to refill

yeah you have to have some licence to refill it. cause some druggos use it.

extreme motorsport does it, i gave a em a call 2 day and they said $100 4 a 10lb bottle and no licence is required, and nos is completely illegal even if u have the lines running in the car, my last kit got confiscated by cops bout 2 weeks ago so i bought another 1, $275 fine for carrying dangerous goods without a licence 2 do so is wat i got done with and no points, must have been lucky. Apparntly not here, have a mate who has refilled his bottle twice in a month, and doesnt have a ANDRA licence, its in the car, but not hooked up, until we go to the drags.

yeah cairns cops make up there own laws though, they took everything exept the plate system and solenoids

I think you do have to have an andra licence 4 a filling station, a couple of guys in mareeba do it but its hush hush

if boc wont do it for you go see nortstate gas there is another place around town that do it aswell but i forget the name of the place

simply explain its use for drag racing blah blah blah...

u dont need a drag licence cause is not a type that can be inhaled, there are 2 types, boc does have drag grade nos but but dont refill into ure standard 10lb bottle, only 5kg bottles they exchange, and norstate dont do it anymore, they were the first ones i spoke to
