Na well i found a place in townsville that does it so wen i go down next weekend im gettin it filled, and racing grace contains a carsonogenic compound so you cant get high off it, but it will make u suffocate if inhaled.

my old boy used to do refills, thats when he was the austrlian dealer of nitrous express... but he sold the company to extreme (i think)... ill have a talk to him to see if he still has the 1.5m tall bottle and refill station, might still be in storage...

for the legal part of it, you cannot have the bottle in your car at any time (unless using it at the drags) if you have a kit installed, just say your going to the drags you have to carry the bottle in another car that does not have a kit installed

I hold A dangerouse goods packing code so does this mean I can legally drive around town in a ute (nos secured in the back) and be totally legal if it's not hooked up. That would be a good one for the boyz in blue I recon. Off memory you can carry up to 250lt with out any signage or DG paper work.

Anyone thats wants NOS refills can call me, Siv 0418331484 I can orginise it here in Cairns.
ps: QLD law states "it is illegal to have (any part) of a nitrous oxide induction system fitted to a registered vehicle"
So too have a bottle in a vehicle is completely ok (as long as it is secured). The dangerous goods quantity is enourmous so they cant pin that one on you.

I was questioned about this by popper smurf one night at a random breath test station, as I had a 11 pound bottle on my back seat with the seat belt around it.

Check with JUSTIN at ALL CRASH PARTS on HARTLEY ST.
We used to have a NITROS FILL STATION.
We were filling shit loads of bottles.
The 2 different grades of N2O are refered to as MEDICAL & ENGINE BOOSTING.
ENGINE BOOSTING contains SULPHUR DIOXIDE, it makes you sick, this is the DETERENT from INHALATION.
There are at LEAST 2 N2O FILL STATIONS in CAIRNS,both of which have been sold from the original workshops that i used them at.
Try also JASON (CHAMOIS) he works for NQ TOWING,he did buy 1 of the stations but i'm not sure if he still has it.
As for LISCENCES to buy and fill N20, i was never informed of such legalities.
We were buying the large fill bottles through BOC.
We never got asked for any LISCENCE or told about any legalities regarding running a fill station other than having a SIGN UP stating that there where pressurised gas vessles stored on the workshop premisses.
This was the only thing we had to do.
It was a requirement for the FIRE BRIGADE as if they had to attend a fire at the workshop they need to know its there.
N2O IS NOT FLAMMABLE.
IT IS HOWEVER stored in a sealed bottle.
WHEN N2O is heated the pressure builds up, all storage vessles(bottles) have a safe max. pressure that they can contain.
When an N20 bottle is in a fire the press. can build to the point where the bottle explodes (thus making it an explosive device) with NASTEY consiquences, SHRAPNELL.

don't know about that a mates bottle had a leak, or the valve wasn't shut off properly and we were off our tits. It was a great laugh.

Any nos that is inhaled pure ( with no atmospheric air ) will sufocate you 'cause you need the co2 in your lungs so they register a toxen and make you breathe out.

As for legallity definately not in a street car. If the fuzz want to be mongrels they are allowed to fine you $1400 per cylender, defect your car and impound it for carrying dangerouse goods.
Been there, done that and got the T shirt.
Ps CBR 250's with nos rock. $5600 fine didn't tho.

No problem.
At the end of the day,why would we want to INHALE this GAS anyway.
We want to use this truely amazing GAS for """ENGINE BOOSTING"""
If people choose to BREATH this stuff maybe they should be on anoyher site, "CHROMERS & SNORTERS.com
or something.
I have had alot of experience with N2O SYSTEMS.
WET, DRY,CARBY & EFI SYSTEMS.
In my opinion GAS IS GOOD.
I will start a new thread regarding this TOPIC for technical assistance & general discussion regarding nitros oxide, PRO'S & CONS, DO'S & DONT'S ETC.
