You can't really say what boost the motor will take as the stock turbo is the limit not the motor. The amount of boost on other turbos depends on the tune, how well the motor has been looked after and even the size of the turbo. A smaller turbo has to work harder to create say 20psi which means hotter intake temps, a larger turbo will do 20psi with better intake temps which means less chance of detonation which means longer engine life.

stock injectors, stock timing, turbo will run out of puff above this boost level, also dont be a fool run a FMIC asap if you want to keep it safe
with the spark plugs get a decent set of platinums gap down to 0.8mm,

for your combo you'll need
at least and not limited to
550 cc injectors (unless you wanna run big numbers get 740cc)
FMIC
ZORST
decent aftermarket management (autronic so you ditch the afm and ray hall can tune it for ya
or apexi powerfc
decent fmic, something thats not cheap rubbish
GT35/40r, decent turbo manifold if you wanna spend the extra dollars
while your changing the turbo ditch all the crap oem oil and water lines and use
Teflon, stainless braided hose, -8 hose is good for this, (you dont have to worry about blocked water or oil lines in this case)
available from enzed just take the old ones in and get them made to fit +100mm on them so you can flex them a bit
many ppl have at least 300rwkw on a stock bottom end (these are up to the task as long as its tuned propery), when it goes bang just get a RB30 from a wrecker ditch the head and keep the block, bolt up the Rb25det head and your now laughing
depending how much you wanna spend, you can make a cheap RB2530 with ACL pistons rings and acl gasket kit if done yourself for about 3k all up
